A maternity session is such a beautiful way to honor this new beginning of your motherhood. It’s such a gift to your child but also to yourself, to be able to preserve the feelings to remember them and Maternity sessions resonate with me in a special way. I know how quick it goes. I know how hard it can be. I love everything about creating images that feel like a portal into your feelings and this wild experience that is carrying a child. I love the anticipation of awaiting a little human to arrive. Watching the transformation of mothers, mentally and physically as they step into this new role.
My intentions on my heart are to help you feel seen in all the transitions. To give you a little portal to that feeling of becoming. The feeling of being completely changed by this experience. These are such transformative days. They are gone before we know it and so quickly become hazy memories. Capturing them feels oh so important to me.
I shoot a mix of digital, 35mm and medium format film. I love film; Its imperfections and the way it captures nostalgia.
